The group Anonymous has just responded to the US government. They’ve recently announced that they plan to expand the use of facial recognition. It’s reported that nearly half of the 24 surveyed US agencies said that they plan to broaden the use of facial recognition technology by 2023. According to a report by the Government Accountability Office, they revealed that US agencies plan to use the system more than what they already are, saying that although they’ve received backlash over facial recognition, they still plan to go ahead with this.
